Design thinking
Design thinking is an approach to innovation that begins with a deep empathy for the person for whom the product is being built. It moves through a series of stages – Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test – to challenge assumptions and uncover deeper user needs. This method is particularly effective for solving problems that are ill-defined or tricky, as it encourages teams to explore multiple solutions before settling on a final direction.
While often associated with creative teams, design thinking is a business-critical strategy. It aligns technical development with actual human behavior, ensuring that the resulting software is not just functional but also intuitive and valuable.
